Dental Hygienist
I’m Julia, and I began my dental career in 1984, qualifying as a Dental Nurse before going on to achieve my Dental Hygienist Certificate in 1988 at Guys Dental Hospital. Over the past three decades, I’ve gained extensive experience in general practice, industry, and even the armed forces.
I’m particularly passionate about working with gingivitis, periodontitis, and dental implants. I also have experience in giving local anaesthetics to make hygiene appointments as comfortable as possible for my patients.
Having had a dental phobia as a child, I understand the importance of making patients feel comfortable and confident during their appointments. Outside of work, I enjoy exercise, cooking, travelling, and spending time with my family, including my two grown-up daughters and my husband. I also have an adorable little dog who keeps me on my toes!
