Our clinics are easily reached from Hertfordshire via major local routes, including the A1(M), A507 and A505, depending on which practice you are visiting.

Stotfold Dental Clinic: From Hertfordshire, take the A1(M) towards Stotfold, then continue via the A507 and High Street to 5 The Avenue, Stotfold, Hitchin SG5 4LY.
Shefford Dental Clinic: From Hertfordshire, join the A1(M), then continue via the A1, Edworth Road, B659 and A507 towards Hitchin Road. Our clinic is at 99 Hitchin Road, Clifton, Shefford SG17 5JB.
Melbourn Dental Clinic: From Hertfordshire, take the A1(M) and A505 towards Royston, then continue along Royston Road into Melbourn before joining Orchard Road. Our clinic is at 24a Orchard Road, Melbourn, Royston SG8 6HH.

Travelling by bus

Local bus services can provide another option, particularly for patients travelling through Stevenage, Letchworth Garden City and surrounding areas.

Stotfold Dental Clinic: Travel via Letchworth Garden City, then continue towards Stotfold and The Avenue.
Shefford Dental Clinic: Travel from Stevenage towards Henlow, with the clinic around a 7-minute walk from The Steamer.
Melbourn Dental Clinic: Travel via Stevenage, then continue by train to Meldreth before walking to Orchard Road.

Travelling by train

Great Northern services provide connections from Hertfordshire to nearby stations, with local travel options available for the final part of your journey.

Stotfold Dental Clinic: Travel from Welwyn Garden City to Letchworth Garden City, then continue towards Stotfold by bus.
Shefford Dental Clinic: Travel via Stevenage or Arlesey, then continue towards Shefford by local transport or taxi.

Can I spread the cost of my dental care with Denplan?

Denplan is available at our Melbourn Dental Clinic and helps spread the cost of routine dental care through monthly payments. Invisalign® treatment is separate, so Denplan does not cover the cost of your clear aligners.

Do I need to be a Hertfordshire resident to have Invisalign®?

No. Our clinics also welcome patients from surrounding areas of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. If you live outside Hertfordshire but are able to attend one of our practices for your appointments, you can discuss Invisalign® with our dental team.

Can I have Invisalign® if I am nervous about dental treatment?

Yes. Tell us about any concerns before your appointment so we know how you are feeling. We can talk you through what will happen and give you time to ask questions before making any decisions.

Can I still have routine dental appointments during Invisalign®?

Yes. Straightening your teeth does not replace your usual dental care. You should continue with regular examinations and hygiene appointments while having Invisalign® treatment.

Can I have Invisalign® if I have gum problems?

Your gums need to be healthy before starting orthodontic treatment. If we identify a gum problem, we may recommend dealing with this first before moving your teeth.
